The narrator is unfortunately very monotone. Barely any difference when X speaks instead of Y and no emotion at all. Sounds very lazy. I suspect he just churns out audiobooks with the least amount of effort he can do so that it still sounds professional. That it does pisses me off, actually. Like he’s doing a con.
Imagine pronouncing this in your, do it: aaaoooaaaoooaaaoooaaaoooaaaooo… That’s how he sounds. Up-down-up-down, tone and volume, no reason behind it. Just so that isn’t literally just one single tone. No effort.

… that’s a joke right? WTH? … he just did a different voice for someone: A third guy that was entering an already ongoing conversation. That’s good right? Haha, no! Why? Because now, and I can actually believe it: He does the same voice for all three, I think. It’s hard to know really, because in this case you can barely figure out who’s talking shortly after the third guy enters.
